SALES: Account Manager (Existing Business)

About the job

Salary range – €50k-€70k base + commission (OTE €100k-€140k)

*Please note that we are only able to consider applicants who are currently based in Ireland and have a valid employment permit/right to work*

Are you entrepreneurial with a proven track record in maximizing revenue from existing accounts? … Do you enjoy working in client relations? … Are you a natural self-starter who thrives in fast paced environments?

…If you answered ‘yes’ to the above, skip the rest and just apply 🙂

Who we are:

We’re Kubicle. The next big thing in eLearning.

We help companies stay current by building their data literacy competencies through a market leading eLearning platform. In only a few years we’ve managed to acquire a customer base that includes some of the biggest names in business, from KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, Qantas, and more.

…We’re on to something pretty big – and our team is about to get bigger.

Our product is truly transformational. We give employees the confidence to use everyday tools more effectively, understand theoretical data and financial principles often untaught, and as a result, produce better work (in a shorter time). Companies are also able to easily ascertain L&D RoI by identifying a material difference between pre and post Kubicle training. It’s a win-win, making our product incredibly ‘sticky’ and highly referrable.

The role:

We are looking for a seasoned and capable Account Manager to maximise our revenue from our existing client accounts. We deal mostly with Management Consultancies, Professional and Financial Services. Because our product focuses on data intelligence – with a financial twist – we often find ourselves selling to corporate finance teams (that’s not to say however that our product is limited to these groups, it’s just where we have the most engagement).

We’ll be asking the successful candidates to build on the existing relationships we have, expanding the Kubicle client portfolio by generating new business within existing accounts. We expect this role to result in a pivotal contribution to Kubicle’s future success story.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell to existing business customers, generating c. €500k in net new business in year 1
  • Manage a renewal portfolio with a total portfolio value of 750-100k USD.
  • Work with the Customer Success team to deliver exceptional experiences and extend average lifetime value.
  • Be loved by our customers! Our customer service and support is one of our most competitive capabilities.

About you:

  • You thrive in a start-up environment. You like solving problems and exploiting opportunities – even though sometimes they might not appear in your job description.
  • Hungry to win and entrepreneurial. We don’t have everything figured out, but there’s a lot of low hanging fruit if you look in the right places.
  • You are a strategic thinker. Winning big in our accounts will take a multi-threaded approach. In some instances you’ll be bringing a global business under the umbrella of a global contract, and in others you’ll be scaling one contract to ten +. In most instances there won’t be a playbook
  • You have an enterprise sales background and you are able to clearly display your ability to take the reigns of opportunities and direct a complex stakeholder group towards an ideal outcome.

What you will need:

  • Proven track record in YoY revenue increase
  • Experience in managing large corporate and enterprise accounts
  • Experience selling to professional and financial services – SaaS would be preferred but not necessary

What you will get:

  • Opportunity to quickly progress in company due to the pace we are growing at
  • Flexible/hybrid/remote working
  • Autonomy with no micro-management – we are output oriented so you are able to manage your own schedule and diary
  • Uncapped commission
  • Collaborative and fully supportive work environment
  • Full Health insurance
  • ESOP
  • 25 days paid holiday
  • and many more – just ask about anything you want more of at interview stage 🙂

Companies are also able to easily ascertain L&D RoI by identifying a material difference between pre and post Kubicle training. It’s a win-win, making our product incredibly ‘sticky’ and highly referrable.

The role:

We are looking for a driven and capable Account Executive to hyper-scale our new business revenue by winning corporate accounts. We deal mostly with Management Consultancies, Professional and Financial Services. Because our product focuses on data intelligence – with a financial twist – we often find ourselves selling to corporate finance teams (that’s not to say however that our product is limited to these groups, it’s just where we have the most engagement).

We’re early on our journey, and although we have some traction in our inbound channels, the majority of new business sales results come from event attendance, networking, referrals and ‘good old’ outbound. We are also expanding our channel strategy, and so using referral partners is something that has also proven successful.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve meeting and booked demo targets for corporate clients
  • Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets.
  • Seek out the appropriate contacts in an organization
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective clients
  • Manage your activity in the CRM (Hubspot).

About you:

  • You thrive in a start-up environment. You like solving problems and exploiting opportunities – even though sometimes they might not appear in your job description.

  • *** You are a scientist when it comes to outbound. It’s critical for the right candidate to be knowledgeable in task automation technologies as they pertain to prospecting. We’re looking for productive people who know how to use the tools available to succeed. ***
  • You have a ‘get up and go’ attitude when it comes to business (and life in general) and you aren’t put off by set backs

What you will need:

  • Full sales cycle experience in B2B sales (ideally in SaaS)
  • Experience in achieving monthly/quarterly/yearly quota targets
  • Ability to seek out opportunities which may not be obvious at first glance
  • Consultative sales approach – experience in long-term sales cycles

What you will get:

  • Opportunity to quickly progress in company due to the pace we are growing at
  • Flexible/hybrid/remote working
  • Autonomy with no micro-management – we are output oriented so you are able to manage your own schedule and diary
  • Uncapped commission
